These are some hair dye recipes suggested by advocates of natural cosmetics include;

BLACK PEPPER (Pepper nigrum)

- Mix 1 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper and 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice into 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. Massage the mixture into your hair, leaving it in place for 1 hour and then rinsing it out. Repeat three times per week.

HENNA (Lawsonia inermis)

- Mix enough henna powder into one cup of black tea or coffee to make a paste with the consistency of the yogurt. Cover the bowl and let it sit. After six hours mix in 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and then apply the mixture to your hair. Rinse it off after 1 to 3 hours, depending on the depth of color you want.

I suggest going for hair oil with amala, onion juice, tulsi, henna leaves, and curry leaves. I also suggest applying henna mix on the hair once a month. Apply hibiscus flower and leaves a mixture of shampoo on hair.

With a variety of herbs, you can create your own hair dye. This sort of hair color is not as potent as commercially available chemical dyes, so it takes several applications before you notice the difference.

There are several home remedies that may help prevent or slow down the progression of gray hair, including consuming a diet rich in vitamins and minerals, using herbal remedies like amla and henna, massaging the scalp with oils like coconut or almond oil, and reducing stress levels. However, it's important to note that these remedies may not work for everyone, and it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional before trying any new remedies.
