because the islamicals on the ancient times had an almost well convivence with the christians which was dhimmi  (dimminutio capitis) protected people but an well maked traduccion can be aproximated to the word minority so a part of the islamical people was pacific with the christians but another part (the most radicalist) don't, so you must to figure out in which parts of the ancient islam was located the most radical and protectionist people to find an real answer. this is just data that can be helpful to fin that answer and you must to investigate about laws which disallowed (on the past) that the christians write on the islamic society

There is a believe that early father abraham son is the muslim god and which was the forefather of christians too. So both the bible and quran have connections in between.

Many Christian scholars have written about the history of Islam, both early and later periods, as it is a major religion with a significant impact on world history. They may have been motivated to study and write about Islam due to a variety of reasons such as religious or theological interest, academic curiosity, or to provide a historical context for contemporary events. Additionally, some Christian scholars have also written about the history of Islam in order to provide a comparative perspective with Christianity, to understand the similarities and differences between the two religions.
