If your laptop touchpad is not working, it is really a problem and it is often a sign that there are key combinations that are not functioning properly. You first need to press the window key, type touchpad and then select touchpad setting. In the touchpad window, scroll down to the reset touchpad sections and click the reset button. Test to see if it works. If it is not still working consider seeing a technician.

Try to update the touchpad device drive. If it doesn't work, didn't take risk take the system to an expert technical person. Touch pad sometimes will not work if the system is also not updated.

Check the driver of your touchpad if it is updated and if you know how to check it in the system of your computer. Try to update that driver is still available on the site of your laptop brand. If it doesn't work after doing the update or if you can't do it by yourself then you need to bring it to the service technician who repairs the software of the computer. They can test and fix it for you if it can be fixed or not.

There are a few things you can do to try to fix the touchpad. First, try pushing a power button on the touchpad. If the power button works, and the touchpad isn't working anymore, you can try another touchpad. If the touchpad still isn't working, and you have a desktop computer, you might need to replace the touchpad.

If your laptop's touchpad isn't working, first try restarting your laptop. If that doesn't work, check your touchpad settings or update your drivers. If all else fails, use an external mouse or seek professional help.

If your touchpad isn't working, it may be a result of a missing or out-of-date driver. Updating or reinstalling your touchpad drivers in Device Manager may help solve the problem. To open Device Manager, enter device manager in Search on the taskbar, then select Device Manager.

If your laptop's touchpad isn't working, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restart your laptop.

2. Ensure the touchpad is not disabled. Look for a physical button or keyboard shortcut to enable it.

3. Update or reinstall the touchpad driver.

4. Clean the touchpad surface.

5. Check for any physical damage or loose connections.

6. Connect an external mouse as a temporary workaround.

If the issue persists, consider seeking professional technical support.
