Ages 12 years old and above have the ability to demonstrate responsibility for such important personal belongings should be able to be in charge of their own jewelry. However, a child's awareness and understanding of gifts is definitely the most important factor. But most Schools is not permitted because these items represent a potential hazard not only to the wearer but also to other children.

At 8 years onwards, we can put chain, ears and bangles if school permits. I like kids to wear jewelery.  They will look good in all this jewelery

In my country Philippines, it is not ideal for the kiddies to wear pieces of jewelry at school. With the exemption for girls, they usually have a pair of earrings.

When I was a child, I've always had earrings. They're not that expensive, though, just small stud earrings. At around 14, my mom gave me matching earrings and necklace. They had small diamonds. She let me wear those to school. Eventually, I only wore earrings to school because I was worried that the necklace would break during physical education classes.

it is generally recommended to wait until a child is old enough to responsibly handle and not lose expensive jewelry before allowing them to wear it to school.

The age of 12 is typically a time when children can be trusted to wear jewelry on their own without careful supervision, but that's not a "hard and fast" rule. Giving a baby or toddler a baby necklace can present a potential choking or strangulation hazard to the child.

The decision of allowing a child to wear fine jewelry to school is subjective and depends on various factors such as the child's maturity, the safety of the school environment, and parental discretion.
