Changing your earrings after 2 weeks is a big mistake. This not just completely damage your piercing area but will also increase your healing time. You should wait for at least 8 weeks to have your piercing fully healed.

It was a wise advice and everyone should follow this. Piercing gets healed within 1 to 2 weeks. So better ear rings stay there for the time being.

No, the wound inside the pierced areas are still open even after 2 weeks. This is a wound inside the body and it takes longer than a month to heal properly. The ears are sensible areas to be pierced on. It can take 4 months to heal just as it can take 12 months or more. So, during the healing time, you don't change your earrings. Changing them can damage the wound inside and cause irritation which can lead to infection and your body can try rejecting the foreing bodies (the earrings). So, next time you have other piercings, don't change them after 2 weeks, and if you ever need more answers, you can always reach out to a professional piercer as well. :)

it is recommended by professionals that you change your earing's at least 6 months after your piercing. This is done to assure that your piercing have healed and it is okay to remove the old earrings and replace them with new ones.

It is actually you choose whether to change or not. But it is advised to change after a month. But you should make sure that you had another one in the place you removed.

It's not good and healthy to change earings after 2 weeks of piecing because the wound has not completely healed which can take up to 6 undisturbed months to heal.

it is recommended to wait 6-8 weeks before attempting to change your earring. This is recommended as 6-8 weeks is the length of time that it takes for a piercing to heal.
