Why is LPG stored in liquid form?

To convert LPG from a gaseous state to a liquid, all it takes is low pressure or refrigeration. LPG grows to 270 times its volume when converted to a gas. As a result, it's only natural that LPG is stored and transported in a gas bottle as a liquid under pressure. (e.g.propane tanks)

LPG is stored in liquid form because it is more efficient and economical than storing it in its gaseous form. When stored as a liquid, LPG takes up much less space, making it easier to transport and store. Additionally, LPG remains in liquid form at room temperature, so it does not require any additional energy to keep it in a liquid state.

for ease of portability. LPG property specifies that it can expand up to 270 times in volume upon conversion to a gaseous state. This will mean that 1 kg of liquid LPG on conversion to vapor LPG can expand up to 270 kW
