The difference between medical gas and oxygen is that medical gas is a mixture of gases, while oxygen is a single gas. Medical gas is typically a blend of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Oxygen, on the other hand, is a single gas that is used in medical settings to treat hypoxia and other respiratory illnesses.
