On the iPad (except for the 4th generation model), the hardware button that would control an external mouse can be set to minimize or maximize.

If you are using Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor, you can adjust this to the perfect setting by holding the Home button, swiping to the left on the Touch ID panel and to the right on the Scan panel.

To adjust the touch sensitivity on an iPad, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Touch Accommodations, then adjust the "Hold Duration" and "Ignore Repeat" sliders to your preference.

Go to settings then accesability, touch , then haptic touch . Choose the haptic duration- fast or slow . You can also increase the pressure needed, light , medium or firm. Test the new setting on the image at the bottom of the screen.

The best way to adjust the touch sensitivity on an iPad is to go to the Settings app, select General, and then Accessibility. From there, you can adjust the touch sensitivity to your desired level.
