Am getting my ears pierced for the first time and I was advice to wear studs when I do that. What type of earrings do you wear normally and which is your favourite? Also which colour do you mostly prefer to wear.

Choose Earrings Based on Your Hair Color & Length. You can wear a single pair of large studs or you can go for a multiple earring stack with lots of dainty small studs and a huggie hoop earring that snuggly fits your ear. Both looks are feminine and suggest a laid-back style but not a casual or dressed-down look.
You can use the silver studs which are great for everyday use. That's what I used recently it will not look too formal, unlike the gold ones which are quite formal or special to wear in everyday use. But before I used to wear gold studs with small stones and then silver became a fad a few years ago that's why I transferred to silver. It will depend on you on what you feel comfortable for you to wear. It doesn't be to be big and obvious sometimes the simpler the better. You can change it to a little bit formal ones with bigger stones or a little bit bigger earrings.
My personal preference is for simple stud earrings, as they are easy to wear and go with any outfit. My favorite type of earrings are those made of sterling silver, as they are both stylish and affordable.
