The reasons for overheating of your computer might be as follows-

1-Bad fan / clogged heat sink

2-clogged air filters

3-Dry thermal paste on CPU/GPU

4-heavy apps etc

solution-Clean your whole pc, change thermal paste, clear all dust in your computer, update your computer with the latest hardware, block background apps

switching off the computer is a good way to let it cool down . However , just closing the app also works since it then reduces the amount of weight on the CPU

Its overheating because you are using a program that is demanding a lot of power from your computer to run it , mostly games or high specs demanding work apps are the culprit

Your computer is overheating if it is on for many hours or you are opening many sites at the same time. To cool it down you should optimize your computer each day you open your computer. Turn off and rest it for while to let your computer cool down. If it is a desktop you can put a fan beside your computer to cool it down a little bit. If it is a laptop if you can buy a laptop rest that has a fan and plugs it into your laptop while you are using it. You can buy a laptop rest that has a hole in the middle so that the heat will come out under.

Let your computer cool by removing any obstacles to airflow. Don't block your computer's vents make sure you have plenty of unobstructed space around them. Using a laptop cooling pad is inexpensive and connects directly to your laptop. Change your computer's settings to improve its performance reduce pressure on internal components and cut down on overheating. And the easiest way is to shut down the computer and let it rest for a few hours.

This is most likely because of using it it repetitively it will lead to over heating and make it heat up or it's just because of a bad fan system.

Computer overheating can be caused by a buildup of dust in the system, insufficient cooling, high-performance hardware, and poor ventilation. To cool down your computer, regularly clean out dust, ensure good airflow, use a laptop cooling pad, and consider adding additional fans. If overheating persists, consult a professional.

The major reason why your computer might be heating may be there is alot of dust trapped and build up on the fans or the air vents.

most common reason for an overheating computer is dust buildup on the fans or air vents. Reduce the heat inside the computer to improve the system performance and prevent any damage to the internal components.
