Yes, but in order to really make money you need big traffic.

If you want to check which sites are legit, you can Google it very easily.

Some sites have over 1mil users and bunch of proof online + reviews.

Keep in mind, if you just copy paste links around the web (reddit, YouTube.. ) - you won't make money.

These sites are charming for the average Joe, but Joe, don't really have the traffic needed in order for it to be successful.

Most of the times Joe tries to trick the system..

(And they got really smart detecting Joe's).

Good luck.

I am so skeptical about this idea. I tried once or twice but stopped eventually. Even if they are legit, they do not pay that much. It is just my personal opinion about it.

Yes of course. Many people have been paid from web link shortening programs. These programs are legal and commonly used by individuals and companies to earn money by shortening and sharing links.

2. Share Links: These shorten links are then shared through different online platforms like the social media, blogs, websites, and emails among others.

3. Earn Money: You earn money when someone clicks on one of these short links.

Here are a few proven and legitimate link shortening links with history of paying their users:

1. Shrinkearn

2. Bitly

3. Clk.sh

4. AdFly

5. Ouo.io

6. shorte.st

7. Linkvertise

It is very important to note that the amount you earn from link shortening programs vary considerably. Earnings depend on factors such as the geographical location of your audience, number of clicks on your links, and the particular program you are using.

Moreover, Make sure you follow the guidelines and rules of the program in order to maintain both your account and earnings.

The presence of advertisements on a website doesn't necessarily reduce its legitimacy. Many legitimate and reputable websites incorporate advertising as a way to generate revenue and support their operations. However, there are some important considerations to keep in mind:

1. **Reputable Advertisers**: Legitimate websites often display ads from well-known and reputable advertisers. If you encounter numerous ads from unknown or suspicious sources, it may be a red flag.

2. **Ad Overload**: Excessive or intrusive ads, such as pop-ups, auto-play videos with sound, and misleading ad placements, can diminish the user experience and make a site appear less professional.

3. **Ad Quality**: The quality and relevance of ads can impact a site's legitimacy. High-quality ads that align with the site's content and audience tend to be more reputable.

4. **Transparency**: Legitimate websites are transparent about their use of ads. They may have a visible advertising policy or disclosure statement explaining their advertising practices.

5. **Consistency with Content**: The content on a site should match the type of ads displayed. Inconsistencies, such as irrelevant or misleading ads, can raise concerns.

6. **User Experience**: Legitimate websites prioritize the user experience. If ads disrupt navigation, cause slow page loading, or create a cluttered layout, it can affect the site's reputation.

7. **Security**: Be cautious if clicking on ads leads to security issues, such as malware or phishing attacks. Legitimate websites take measures to ensure the safety of their users.

8. **Privacy**: Legitimate sites respect user privacy and have clear privacy policies. Be wary of sites that collect excessive personal information through ads without consent.

9. **Trustworthy Content**: Ensure that the primary content of the website is reliable and trustworthy. A site with trustworthy content is more likely to be legitimate, even if it contains ads.

It's important to assess a website holistically, considering factors beyond just the presence of advertisements. Use your judgment, and if a website's ads, content, or overall behavior raise concerns, exercise caution and explore alternative sources for the information or services you seek.
