To clean your bong:

first take out all removable pieces (like the mouthpiece and pipe).

Pour 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol into the bong and add some coarse salt, such as Epsom or rock salt, as an abrasive.

Shake your piece for about five minutes, then rinse with water and soap (Vinegar and rice will also work).

You can also buy commercial pipe cleaners, but many “aren’t necessarily the best for the earth.

I find, for the most part, isopropyl alcohol and rock salt always do the trick.

I love this method, not just because it works, but also because it supports the idea of conserving the legacy of cannabis, and continuing what has been working for so long.

But please keep in mind the conservation of our planet and our waterways.

Don’t be wasteful with water you use to clean.

Best regards,

The best way is to remove all the removable parts and use isopropyl alcohol to sanitize them. You can do this right after washing them with soap and after putting them in some hot water.

Cleaning a gnarly bong can be a bit challenging, but there are several effective ways to do it. Here are some steps you can follow:

Empty the bong: Dump out any remaining water or residue from the bong.

Rinse the bong: Run hot water through the bong to rinse out any loose residue.

Add cleaning solution: There are several cleaning solutions available specifically for cleaning bongs, or you can make your own by mixing equal parts rubbing alcohol and coarse salt. Add the cleaning solution to the bong, filling it about one-third full.

Plug the holes: Cover the openings of the bong with plastic wrap, silicone plugs, or rubber bands to prevent the cleaning solution from spilling out.

Shake the bong: Gently shake the bong for a few minutes, making sure the cleaning solution reaches all areas inside the bong.

Soak the bong: If the bong is still dirty, let it soak in the cleaning solution for several hours or overnight.

Rinse thoroughly: Empty the cleaning solution and rinse the bong thoroughly with hot water, making sure to remove all cleaning solution and residue.

Dry the bong: Let the bong air dry completely before using it again.

Note: Be careful when handling glass bongs, as they can break easily if dropped or knocked against a hard surface.

Cleaning a dirty bong can be a daunting task, but there are several effective methods that you can try. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to clean a gnarly bong:

Gather your supplies. You will need a cleaning solution, such as isopropyl alcohol or specialized bong cleaning solutions, coarse salt, hot water, and a cleaning brush or pipe cleaner.

Disassemble the bong. Remove any detachable parts, such as the bowl, downstem, and ash catcher.

Rinse the bong and detachable parts with hot water. This will help to remove any loose debris and prepare the surface for cleaning.

Add cleaning solution and coarse salt to the bong. Pour the cleaning solution into the bong, followed by a generous amount of coarse salt. The salt will act as a scrubbing agent to help loosen any stuck-on debris.

Cover the openings and shake. Cover the openings of the bong with your hands or stoppers and shake vigorously. The salt and cleaning solution will work together to scrub away any stubborn grime.

Let the cleaning solution sit for at least 30 minutes. This will give the solution time to dissolve any remaining residue.

Rinse the bong and detachable parts with hot water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all cleaning solution and salt.

Use a cleaning brush or pipe cleaner to scrub any remaining debris. For hard-to-reach areas, use a pipe cleaner or cleaning brush to gently scrub away any remaining debris.

Rinse again with hot water. Rinse thoroughly to ensure that all cleaning solution and debris have been removed.

Dry the bong and detachable parts. Use a clean towel to dry the bong and detachable parts completely.

Following these steps should result in a sparkling clean bong that's ready to use again
