All the doctors diagnosed me with a simple muscle spasm. Xray and ultrasound are normal. Has anyone experienced a burning pain on the lower back radiating to the oblique and left abdominal area?How to treat this?

thank you so much. such a big help. will go to a chiropractor soon and will start searching now for appropriate stretches. Will do the hot compress later.I guess consistency is the key. The doctors didn't see any further problem so I guess I just need to do it by myself.

I do think that having direct treatments from a Physiotherapist will be a great help. They can guide you to use the proper exercises that can treat chronic low back pain, such as William Flexion Exercises, posterior pelvic tilting exercise, strengthening abdominal muscles to support your lower back, proper body mechanics, etc. You can check them on the Internet. Plus, physiotherapists can teach you how to use heating modalities that can be applied to the affected area/s before having the exercises per se.

wow, thank you. Will try that william flexion exercise and pelivc tilting exercise. Will try that now. I noticed my back only feels burning pain at night when im lying down on my bed for a long time,awake.

In that case, try to check the 'Proper Bed Positioning' and 'Proper Body Mechanics.' It is how I give home instructions to my patients with chronic low back pain (LBP).

Yoga is the best perfect solution for lower back.i suggests you to visit the yoga site and started yoga like alumbilum, kapalvati and more everyday morning and evening for better results..it's my personal experiences.thank u

Fast Treatment From Back Pain At Home



Back pain is a frequent ailment that can disrupt one's job and personal life. Many home treatments are available to help reduce the annoying back pain.

Lower back pain is a common ailment that causes more worldwide impairment than any other. Up to 80% of the time.

At some point in their life, the majority of individuals will have low back discomfort. Pain relievers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen are available over the counter. Some of the following therapies may be useful for individuals who want to attempt home remedies:

Muscle mobilisation exercises

Pain can also occur in other parts of the back, such as the middle and upper back.

When back pain occurs, getting up and moving might be difficult. A brief stroll, yoga, water exercise, or other low impact activity, on the other hand, can often assist relieve back discomfort.

Exercise can help to relax tight muscles and release endorphins, which are natural painkillers produced by the brain.

To maintain muscle flexibility and strength, a person might start a regular exercise regimen that includes strength training and stretching.

Regular exercise help avoids back discomfort caused by tight muscles in the future.

Use both hot and cold

Heat and ice are both excellent strategies to relieve back pain, according to studies.

Stretches

The stretches shown below may assist ease back discomfort. Each stretch should be held for 30 seconds or as long as it feels good. 

Toes in the air: Bending forward to reach your toes can assist release the muscles in your lower back in addition to extending your hamstrings. 

Cobra Pose: Lie down on your stomach and gently push your chest up such that the top of your head points towards the ceiling. Starting on your hands and knees, gradually alternate arching your back toward the ceiling and sinking it toward the floor.

Child Pose: Lean forward to rest your head on the floor, stretching your arms out in front of your head, while sitting on your heels with your legs hip-width apart.

Use a pain-relieving cream

Back discomfort can be relieved with a number of pain-relieving lotions available at pharmacies and online. 

Pain-relieving creams containing capsaicin, a chemical found in spicy peppers, may also be beneficial. Capsaicin cream from a trusted source was found to be effective in relieving osteoarthritis pain in one research.

Menthol based pain relievers provide a cooling effect that might momentarily relieve back discomfort. According to one study, applying menthol to the skin can help to desensitise pain receptors in the body. Using too much menthol, on the other hand, might make a person more sensitive to pain.
