Barber is most focus on hair, and most the time but no more any rules, will have a focus on simple cutting techniques and styling training. The biggest difference is that the barber is mainly focus on hair but beautician has a much broader inclusion such as nail, eyebrows, cheeks, skin, and lips  etc. Beautician training is very hard compare to barbers training

A barber shop is usually for male hair cutters or salons. Most of their customers are male kids to adults. A beautician usually does cut and style mostly for female customers from kids to adults. They have variety roles aside from cutting the hair, treatments and styles. Sometimes there are also young guys who visit this female salon to have their hair treatments or styled by a professional beautician. At times you need to pay more for a beautician than a barber who is only doing the limited tasks for male hair grooming.

difference is that barbering is strictly focused on hair, whereas cosmetology has a much broader inclusion, such as nails, skin, hair, and more. Barbering is much more zeroed in on hair and facial hair training and experience, and again, is typically focused on men's needs
