In a scientific context, it makes nerve cells or neurons reconnected to each other. When a person's sleeping, his or her brain's glymphatic system clears out the waste accumulated in this internal organ. That is the reason why we think clearer upon waking up.

Brain is like a  storage  he clean and rearrange files in this storage (daily activities,...) so you can retreive them later. just while sleeping

And brain must be turned off  or it will affect abilityy and concentration

Any human being  who does not get enough  sleep will exhaust their mind.We arw created to be active during the day but sleep at night.Sleep helps re-energize our mind and body systems.We relax and get healing from our days activities which leaves our bodies tired.
