It is obvious that they do not lay eggs like birds, amphibians, or reptiles. Elephants are mammals that bear their offspring like humans in the animal kingdom. Thus, we cannot even weigh or measure their eggs because they can not as mentioned earlier.

Endoparasites dwell on the elephant's 2.5 cm thick skin, which is covered with fine hair called lanugo, where they lay eggs and cause illness. Mutualism is the second symbiotic connection that applies to the Sumantran elephant. Mutualism is the partnership in which the connection benefits both species.

Elephants do not lay eggs. They are mammals. That means they give birth to their young ones alive. They are not of the Aves group.

Elephants belong to the class of animals known as mammals. This means that they have certain characteristics that are common to all mammals, such as hair, mammary glands (used to produce milk and feed their young), and three middle ear bones. One of the key characteristics of mammals is that they give birth to live young, rather than laying eggs. This process is known as viviparity.

Elephants are placental mammals, which means their young grow inside of the mother and are fed through a placenta that is attached to her body. Elephant babies are born live, not hatched from eggs.

No, elephants do not lay eggs. Elephants give birth to live young after a gestation period of 22 months. An elephant egg would be much larger than a chicken egg, as an elephant is much larger than a chicken.
