Gamification is the use of game concept, game mechanics and game dynamics to drive game-like engagements and actions to non-game contexts such as learning. In learning, educators can leverage on gamification and apply them to the subject content in order to meet the specific learning outcomes like knowledge diffusion, active classroom engagement and evoke positive change to students’ behavior. Gamification means guiding people to do specific things and then rewarding it for them. This is one way you can design the games and also guide people to have achievements.

It is the best option for those people who wanted to work as a 'game tester.' Since we are in the 4th Industrial Revolution, we need to know about it. It can make not left behind. Some people are not open to this idea because they are contented whatever status they are in right now. Of course, it is always the case for old age people. For me, I still want to continue to know more things that are new to me despite being old in the future.

The term is quite new to me. But I believe, if it is applied in learning, it would follow the reward system in a game. I suppose some educational games for kids are using this concept. Like rewarding some virtual stickers or gifts to the users for accomplishing some tasks.
