The word 'pride' has no prefix nor suffix attached to it. If it had let say prefix, it would have had a syllable  before pride. And if it had suffix, it would have had a syllable after the word pride attached to it. As it seems pride is base or root for other words that could be in form of adjective or adverb depending how they are used in sentences.
