I am wondering what the Earth is spinning on. I am a bit confused about this concern.

The earth is spinning around a gravity defying energy: the rotation axis. This makes it spin round the sun on the same actual spot.

I got it. It seems that we need to learn more about Natural Science.

First of all you  must know and understand that Earth is one of the nine planets which consist of Mercury,Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Urenus, Neptune and Pluto.

Planet Earth has two kinds of spinning which includes rotation and revolution of the earth whereby rotation of the earth causes day and night and revolution of the earth causes seasons.

I am not sure if you are referring to the solar system. I think Pluto is not included here, right?

The reason it is known as the 'axis' is that it encircles the entire planet like the axle of a wheel. The Earth rotates on its axis once every day.

The is is always spinning on its own axis. It is called rotation of earth. It takes earth 24 hours to complete its one rotation along it's own axis. The days and nights are created by this rotation of earth.

The Earth spins on its axis, an imaginary line that runs through the North and South poles and passes through the center of the Earth.

The Earth is spinning on its axis, an imaginary line that runs through the North and South poles. The Earth's axis is tilted 23.5 degrees from the vertical, which is what causes the seasons. The Earth rotates counterclockwise, taking 24 hours to complete one full rotation. This rotation results in the day and night cycle we experience on Earth.
