It is possible to get a credit card without a job, but it may be difficult. Some lenders may require you to have another source of income, such as a pension or social security benefits, or to provide collateral or a co-signer. You may also be able to find a secured credit card, which requires a deposit to act as collateral for the card.

For people without a job or extremely bad credit they now offer prepaid credit cards that you can get. You will be responsible for adding the funds to the credit card when you run low. On prepaid credit cards, they are good for many things. They can help you rent a car, hotel room, book a vacation or use it to verify other accounts.

However, if you go to the bank this one could be very difficult because of the application, screening process and credit check they do.

I've seen some online companies offering people credit cards with no credit checks. I personally don't like these because the interest rate is so high and you'll get yourself in a lot of trouble with one of these.

Yes, but you have to find a good hacker. There are too many self claimed hackers online and you need to try them first without investing any amount, so you are not scammed. You can have them make a customized credit card for you with high credit limit. Or you can make your own fake ID's and credentials in order for your to apply for credit card account.

No, one of the question asked if you're going to get a credit card is "What is your current job" after it they will ask "How much is your monthly earnings" If you're able to answer those 2 questions then you'll be qualified to avail a credit card, and also they will ask for "Government ID's" after providing that information that is the time they will allow you to avail credit cards, nowadays they don't accept people who don't meet their requirements

Here in my country Philippines, getting a card is already a headache, what more if it's a credit card? Lots of interrogation to be asked, documents to be filled and submitted. Even if you are already working, you still need to prove that you are working such as submitting your taxes, sss, employment and salary certificate, and other stuff. On the other hand, there are certain people who doesn't need credit card but it's the bank who are initiating them to apply for it. Getting a credit card is also not a good idea coz you'll be enticed to spend and spend more rather than to earn and save.

Yes, but applicants should be able to show some form of income. For several years, the credit card act of 2009 was interpreted to allow card issuers to consider only the applicants individual ability to repay a loan. This had the effect of shutting out many applicants, especially stay-at-home spouses.

In my country, banks do not usually allow unemployed people to have credit cards. One thing for sure, they are checking if they have the ability to pay it. Sometimes these banks offer their clients these credit cards if seeing them have a huge amount of money in their savings account.

Yes in the past but now due to high unserviceable loans a lot of financial institutions has stopped issuing credit cards without a working. If you can get a job it makes you more qualify to earn a credit facility which will be deducted from your income.

Apply for a secured credit card

If you do not have a job or are self-employed, you can still get a secured credit card. You will need to have funds available. The funds work as collateral against the credit line. The amount acts as a security deposit for your credit card.

Apply with a co-signer

A co-signer is indeed a guarantor who has good credit. When the co-signer approves you for the credit card, he/she becomes equally responsible for payments as you.

If you do not have a job but have a substantial inflow of money into your account you are as much eligible to apply for a credit card. You will need to submit the proof of income to the bank with your credit card request. The income could be from royalty, business profits, child support, or alimony. Some banks may as you for income tax returns

Yes, although it might be difficult for self-employed/unemployed to get a credit card, it is not impossible to get one. You can get a card, albeit with some caveats. Here is a look at how someone who is not employed or does not have standard flow of income xan get a credit card

Normally, banks issue a credit card based on the applicant’s monthly income and credit history.

An individual’s monthly salary determines his/her capability to repay the borrowed amount and the individual’s credit history determines his/her moral behavior towards repayment of the credit amount.

While it is not impossible to get a credit card without income or salary, it is still quite difficult.

Yes, but be sure to carefully read the terms and conditions of any credit card you're considering, including the interest rate, fees, and rewards program, if applicable. Be sure to compare offers from multiple issuers to find the one that's right for you.

Yes, you can get a credit card without a job. Many credit card companies offer secured credit cards, which are designed for those who don’t have a job or other form of income. A secured credit card requires a deposit that is equal to the credit limit, so the card issuer knows they are not at risk of non-payment. Your credit limit is usually the same amount as your deposit, so you can make purchases up to the credit limit without having a job or other income source.

If you're not currently working, you might be wondering whether you can get a credit card. The short answer is, while you may not have to be employed, you do need to show you can cover your bills. So you may want to be cautious if you currently have limited income.
