Take it to a repair shop. Or just sell it. You won't get full price but you'll get something.

Or phone the manufacture they !an know of there was a a recall why it did that!

Great idea . It is Clearly  specified how to solve it wisely. All parts can be sold separately. The importance of separate use of each one.

If it is not functional anymore, it is not worth being replaced by another new one. For the reason that it is more expensive than buying a new computer.

Better bring it to the technician so they can check if the cracked screen is still repairable or not. It's up to you to decide if you want the screen to be replaced if still replaceable. Sometimes the cost of the parts of the laptop is a bit expensive. That’s why others prefer to dispose it and buy a new one if the costs of the repair has small difference with costs of a new laptop.

  1. Use an external monitor: You can connect an external monitor to your laptop using a VGA or HDMI cable to continue using it as a desktop computer.

  2. Repurpose the laptop: If your laptop is still functional apart from the broken screen, you can repurpose it as a home media server, a file server, or a network-attached storage device.

  3. Sell the laptop for parts: You can sell the laptop for parts on online marketplaces like eBay or Craigslist. Some components such as the hard drive, keyboard, or memory can still be salvaged and reused.

If your laptop's screen is cracked, there are still a few things you can do with it. You can use it as a desktop computer by connecting an external monitor, or you can use it for parts. You can also donate it to a charity or organization that specializes in computer recycling. Finally, you can use it as a dedicated server or media center.

Make use of your broken laptop by salvaging the hard drive as an external hard drive and selling any other parts that still work. If the display still works, use it as a standalone monitor. If you decide to sell your laptop, perform a factory reset to wipe your personal files.

You can connect the old laptop to an external monitor or use it as a media server or a backup device. Alternatively, you can sell it for parts.
