Oily nose can caused by hormonal fluctuation, gender or by having a combination skin type. Your nose may produce considerably more oil because your pores are naturally larger than other pores on the face. your sebaceous glands are producing more oil than necessary to keep your skin hydrated.

The nose contains a high number of sebaceous glands which produce oil, called sebum. Hormonal changes, genetics, skincare products, and environmental factors can also contribute to excess oil production. Maintaining a balanced skincare routine, avoiding harsh cleansers, and using oil-free products can help reduce oiliness.

Having an oily nose is a common concern for many people. Several factors can contribute to excess oil production on the nose:

Sebaceous gland activity: The sebaceous glands on the face, including the nose, produce sebum, an oily substance that helps keep the skin moisturized. Some individuals naturally have more active sebaceous glands, leading to increased oil production.
