Speaking from perspective, there's actually no specific age before a child can learn how to read.Their brains are actually white and they tend to comprehend situations based on how a person outside from their very self analyses it.

In fact, kids started to learn during their baby years. It started when mommies are doing baby talk with them. Eventually, the learning process continues as they grow older.

it depends on whether the child is a slow learner or a fast learner. Some of these things are natural because you can not teach a child to be fast or a slow learner. however, learning of alphabets can start at the age of two years. teach the child in form of songs and rhythm. they might not understand what they actually mean but at least they will know that there are somethings called alphabets as they say them one by one.

The age at which a child starts to learn letters and read can vary depending on the individual child. Generally speaking, most children begin to recognize letters around 3 years old and can start to read basic words by 4 years old. Some children may start earlier or later than this, so it's important to keep in mind that each child develops at their own pace.
