I find it weird if paper money is made of paper. It will be confusing to people if they do not know the materials the paper money is made of. What do you know about it?

Coin was and is still the means of payment in some countries.I think the term paper money is actually used so as to differenciate it from the coin money.

Paper money is made of paper indeed. Money production involves the usage of a special type of tree and hence paper consumption indeed! Upvote if helpful!

Yes, paper money is made of paper. The paper used to make paper money is a specialized type of paper known as "banknote paper." This type of paper is made from cotton and linen fibers, which are more durable and difficult to counterfeit than regular paper.

Paper money is not made of traditional paper, but rather a blend of cotton and linen fibers to create a durable and resistant material that is difficult to counterfeit.
