Everyone experience being haunted by the past, you already moved on but sometimes that person involved in your past don't feel the same and keeps on crawling back to follow you. Many possible reasons why people choose to stay in the past and keep on staying by yourside
I think the main reason is no formal closure between the two person involved. People naturally move on with their own different ways but it is more hard to do it if you feel left hanging in there without any explanation, left questioning yourself why it end that way and keep on seeking for answer and hoping for another chance by staying close and keep on coming back to that person. A closure to settle down everything in a relationship is important.
Yes. I met my male friend at work. I was able to work with him for a few months but he is working in a different department. He only work temporarily till he was removed. After more than a year I encountered him again because he was applying to another company. The company where I worked is a subsidiary of that recruitment agency with different government and private companies under it. That friend of mine was applying again for another company on that recruitment agency till we met again in the hallway most of the time. Till I found out from him that he had a misunderstanding with his immediate supervisor. I think he plans to quit that job and wants to apply again for another job that is available at the agency. Good enough there will be a vacancy in our department that's why through my help he got hired in our department since me and my colleagues on our department already worked with him before. But now we have parted ways already I resigned from that company and he was left behind. I don't know if we will meet again sometime. That time we met again for the second time I did not expect that we will meet again and work together for a few years.
Some people keeps coming back into your life again and again for different reasons. Maybe they really don't want lose such as a person as you. Or they didn't find a replacement of you or better than you.
I experienced both types of people so the good ones I kept them in my life but the bad ones who wanted to use them I cut them off.
This is life how it goes on. Some people for short term some for life time some give us lessons and some cure us.
It's in our hands to accept them or reject them when they vane back again up to what we lived them in the past.
It is possible that someone from my past could come back into my life. It could be a friend, family member, or even an acquaintance. It is possible that this person could have an important role in my life, or simply be a reminder of the past. It is also possible that this person could bring with them new experiences and perspectives that could be beneficial for me.
