Whether your iPad is new or old you need to bring it to the Apple Service Center or other electronics service center so they can check what's the problem behind your battery is draining so quickly. If it is new you can use your warranty and maybe they can change the iPad to the new one. If your iPad is old probably it is long or overused so you might need to replace the battery of your ipad.

That can be because the battery is really old and it can also be because you have too many apps opened and running in the background try closing out all the apps if all else fails take it to the apple store

There are several factors that can cause an iPad battery to drain quickly: Brightness: Keeping the screen brightness level at maximum can consume a lot of battery power. Lowering the brightness or using auto-brightness can help extend battery life. Background App Refresh: Having background app refresh enabled allows apps to constantly update even when they're not in use, draining battery power. Location Services: Using location services, such as GPS or "Find My iPad," can also drain battery power. Push Email: Having push email enabled allows your iPad to constantly receive new emails, which can consume a lot of battery power. Apps Running in the Background: Leaving multiple apps running in the background can drain battery power. Age of the Battery: Over time, the battery in an iPad may start to degrade, leading to a shorter battery life. Software Update: Updating to the latest version of iOS can also sometimes cause temporary battery drain. To extend the battery life of your iPad, you can try the following tips: Lower the brightness or use auto-brightness. Turn off background app refresh for apps that don't need it. Turn off location services for apps that don't require them. Disable push email or fetch new data less frequently. Close apps that are running in the background. If the battery life continues to decline despite trying these tips, you may consider getting your iPad battery replaced by an Apple service provider. If you're still having trouble with battery life after trying these tips, it may be helpful to reset your iPad to its factory settings. This can help resolve any software-related issues that may be affecting battery life.

Your iPad battery may be draining quickly due to a number of factors, such as using power-intensive apps, having too many apps running in the background, or having too many notifications enabled. To help conserve battery life, try disabling unnecessary notifications, closing apps when you are done using them, and using low-power mode.

iPad battery drain can be caused by background app activity, excessive screen brightness, or outdated software. Check your settings to optimize energy usage, close unused apps, and consider disabling push notifications. If the issue persists, updating your iPad's software and checking for faulty apps may help. If the battery continues to degrade, it might be worth considering a battery replacement.
