If someone buys you a car for your birthday does that mean it’s still not free and mean that you are responsible for anything in particular and does that still mean you still have to undergo a credit check and comply with any laws that are in place.

Of course you must comply with the laws, but that doesn't change the fact that you got the car as a gift , you never purchased it with your money so it's free .

Yes that is a good answer. I think you should comply with the law and do the documentation as required by your government.

After all you are the owner of the car dispite of you got it for free

I think it is not my responsibility to pay for it. For the reason that I am not the one who bought it. The logical thing is to accept it if it is for free.

If someone buys you a car for your birthday, it is not free because you did not pay for it. The cost of the car is being covered by the person who gave it to you as a gift. While you did not pay for the car yourself, it still has a monetary value and was not obtained for free.

If someone buys you a car for your birthday, it is not technically free. You may still be responsible for taxes, registration, insurance, and other fees associated with owning a car. Additionally, you may still need to undergo a credit check and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

If someone buys you a car for your birthday, it may be considered a gift and therefore technically free. However, depending on your country's laws, there may be tax implications for receiving a large gift like a car, so it's important to research and comply with any applicable tax laws.
