Yes it is possible because monkey pox can affect animals which includes dogs too. In fact it's a proven fact that animals have contacted the virus before now.

Monkeypox does infect animals, which means it is possible that dogs can get monkeypox too. It is better to keep your pets safe under household isolation with regular checkups to ensure no signs of infection.

Yes, it can be infected, too. That is the reason why we need to let our pets like dogs be at home as much as possible and not mingle with the other domestic animals.

There have been a few reported cases of dogs being infected with monkeypox, likely through contact with infected animals or contaminated materials. However, dogs are not considered a primary host for the virus and are unlikely to spread it to humans or other animals.

Dogs can get monkeypox, although it is very rare. It is important to take care of your pet by ensuring that they are up to date on their vaccinations and that they are not exposed to wild animals or other pets that may carry the virus.

While dogs can contract certain diseases from primates, such as simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) or certain strains of influenza, there is currently no documented evidence to suggest that dogs can contract monkeypox.

Monkeypox is a viral disease that primarily affects primates, including monkeys, chimpanzees, and humans. It is caused by the monkeypox virus, which belongs to the same family of viruses as smallpox. The primary mode of transmission of monkeypox is through direct contact with infected animals, typically rodents or primates, or through contact with contaminated materials, such as bedding or clothing.
