I got mold in my house. Again. We tried a lot of money, but the mold keeps coming back. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

You need to buy from the supermarket the mold killer, but bleach mixed with water can do because that's what I do.

The best way to get rid of mold is to identify the source of the moisture that is causing it and remove it. This could be from a leaky pipe, poor ventilation, high humidity, or even a damp basement. Once the source of the moisture has been identified and removed, it is important to clean the area thoroughly with a bleach solution and make sure that it is dry before repairing any damage. It is also important to ensure that the area is well-ventilated to discourage further mold growth. If the mold problem is recurring, you may want to consider hiring a professional mold remediation company to assess and treat the problem.

The major problem with mold is that the mold spores can spread so quickly and they can't be completely eradicated. Therefore, you must identify the source of the moisture and take care of this first. Mold can grow on the back of drywall, on your ceiling panels. in your carpets, food, clothing, or even on paper. There are many times you can't see the mold that grows in your home. You can do an assessment of your home to identify the major sources of mold. After you've done this, you can now work on fixing the problems You can cure the problems, but in reality, you can't get mold out of your home. You will need to:

  • Dry all the wet areas in your home.
  • If the sheetrock is damaged and continue to get mold on it, you'll need to remove this and have it changed. When changing this out, examine the back of the wall to find out why this area is always wet. Repair all the problems that are associated with this area and the moisture that is there.
  • You'll need to install proper ventilation in the heavy mold areas around your home.
  • Buy only mold resistant products for your home.
  • Always monitor the humidity in your home.
  • Keep your home well ventilated, open the door and windows whenever possible to let the sun and fresh air in. Keep the air circulating in your home.
  • Direct all water away from your home.
  • Keep your rain gutters cleaned out at all times.
  • Keep the mold off all your household plants.

Mold generally occur to the places that are wet and damp. To get rid of mold from the home you can remove the moisture source first of all and also keep the taps, pipes holes, sewage and other water sources checked properly. Also can try for engineered wood floor which is ideal for moisture and perfect under floor heating which reduces the chance of growing of mold.

Normally mold generally occurs in the places that are wet. It may reduce the strength of the walls or that place where it occurs. There are several products that are available in the market which will help you to get rid of the mold such as Bleach Powder, Vinegar, Baking Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, Borax, and more. You have to make the solution of all these products individually and will use it on that place where mold occurs. You can also perform mold inspection before construction of your residential as well as the commercial place to get rid of such kind of problem in future.

I get mould in my house on certain walls when it is cold and damp in the winter. I have tried all sorts of preparations but the thing that worked best for me is spray bleach. A friend recommended this method and I must admit I was doubtful but it really worked.

First of all I cleaned the surface I was going to spray and removed all the mould which had appeared, then I dried it thoroughly and sprayed the bleach on the area affected. I was convinced it would return but even after several months it was still clear. Now I spray the walls that are affected every year before the winter starts and this keeps them clear. A simple but effective way to keep the mould away which is inexpensive.

Hi Serena. Dampness is the major source of mold infestation. You should start with mold removal first. Scrub off infested area with mold cleansers or water and bleach solution. Rinse the surface with clean water and let it dry. For removing dampness, use dehumidifier.

The best way is to let the warm air come inside your house. It is better if you can open windows in the morning, then you can close them in the afternoon. Sometimes mold form because of the cold temperature of the house.

The best way to get rid of mold is to take preventative measures. Start by finding and addressing the source of the moisture that is causing the mold. This could be a leaky pipe, high humidity, or water damage from a flood. Make sure to fix the source and clean up any moldy surfaces with a bleach solution. You can also try using a dehumidifier or an air purifier to help reduce the moisture in the air. Additionally, you can use a commercial mold-killing product to help keep mold away. Finally, it’s important to ensure that your home is well ventilated so that moisture can escape and mold can’t take hold.

To get rid of mold, clean surfaces with a mixture of water and soap. For tough mold, use a solution of 1 cup bleach to 1 gallon of water. Wear gloves and ventilate the area. For large areas or areas with persistent mold, consider hiring a professional mold remediation service. To prevent mold, control humidity levels, fix leaks promptly, and properly ventilate moist areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.

While there is no cure for mold, there are some things you can do to try and remove mold, such as using a) water and b)'s with baking soda and dish soap. Additionally, using a) is not as strong as using b) and is less likely to cause damage. Finally, do not use any of the following solutions: oil, paint thinner, oricels. These products can damage the walls and ceilings of your house.

Mix one cup of bleach in a gallon of water, apply to the surface and don't rinse. Mix a 50/50 solution of ammonia and water. Spray on the surface, wait two to three hours, then rinse. Never mix ammonia with bleach or other all purpose cleaners; this will create toxic and dangerous fumes.

Wear protective gear: Before starting the mold removal process, ensure you wear appropriate protective gear to avoid inhaling mold spores or having direct contact with them. Wear gloves, goggles, and a mask to protect your skin, eyes, and respiratory system.

Ventilate the area: Open windows and use fans to improve ventilation in the affected area. This helps in reducing the moisture level and preventing the spread of mold spores.

Remove moldy materials: If mold has affected porous materials like carpets, drywall, or insulation, it may be necessary to remove and discard them. Mold can deeply penetrate porous surfaces, making complete removal difficult.

Clean non-porous surfaces: For hard surfaces like tile, glass, or metal that are not affected by mold penetration, you can use a solution of water and detergent or a specialized mold cleaner to clean the mold. Scrub the affected area thoroughly to remove visible mold growth.
