I live on a tight budget.  I am already getting for Christmas.

Therefore, I need your advice!

I have a ton of books from my bookshelf that are in need of a good home.  How about some gift baskets with a "book theme"?

Then, I have tons of scrap fabric and some wire wreath forms.  How about create some scrap fabric wreaths?

Finally, should I just buy darn gift cards and let the person just get what they want?

Thank you!

Gift baskets with a "book theme" could be a great option for Christmas presents. You can use the books from your bookshelf, as well as other items such as stationery, bookmarks, and other items related to books. Scrap fabric wreaths can also be a great option, as you can customize them to the recipient's taste. Finally, gift cards can also be a good option, as they allow the recipient to choose what they want. Ultimately, it depends on your budget and the recipient's interests.

The most practical thing is to give them gift cards. You don't have to think that hard about what to give them. At least it will be easy for both you and the receiver. You will save your time and time buy. They will just buy whatever they prefer to buy. About your gift baskets and scrap fabric wreaths, you can still give them away to those who deserve to receive those. You can give it to some special people that you think will appreciate those presents and the rest will be gift cards.

Thank you so much!  I think gift cards are the way to go.   Yes, I know that spending quality moments with loved ones is best, but I think atleast a little gift should be given.  I am like a little kid at Christmas watching everyone opening presents and watching their reactions at what they receive.

I look forward to choosing what gift cards to buy!

If you know what they like then choose and put in the basket make it a surprise, but if they don't like it try to find something they like.

How would I know ahead of Christmas what they would like? Do I ask people if they like books?  Then, what if they ask why?  Did you mean gift baskets of different themes, such as coffee, pasta, etc.?  You have me kind-of confused.

You can have casual talks with them before christmas amd talk about books, if they adds up on your topic, we can understand they like it. Otherwise from their conversation we can get what they like must. People will talk more about what they like most. So try this method before before gifting books.

You only talked about fabric wreath and books, suppose these people don't like these items.am not confusing you, you should know what they like if they are really close to you . if they are strangers maybe as you said it could be a gift basket with different things that they use daily like body wash face scrubs or pasta as you said you can choose these items and make that baskets.

It may sound corny but the best present that I can give is my genuine love to them. Giving tangible things is just a bonus. Being with them is what I wanted and the same thing with them.
