We know a long time ago some European nations and peoples go to the other continent to occupy other islands. do you think the gospel is in accordance with that?
I think the main thing about alll that stuff was investigation of unknown. Human intelligence needed that things. Gospel is not about intelligence. It is about faith. If we are talking about occupation then it was not in accordance with gospel, I think.
I do not believe that European colonization was in accordance with the gospel. The gospel teaches us to love and respect one another, and to treat others with kindness and fairness. Colonization is an act of domination and control, which goes against the principles of the gospel.
Yes, European colonization often pursued the "3 Gs": gold (economic gain through exploitation of resources), gospel (spreading Christianity), and glory (enhancing national power and prestige), driving conquest and exploitation across the globe during the Age of Exploration.
