Whether the parents will be there to look after at old age or our children will be there? For whom should a married men give importance.

The kids life is to be given more importance than anything. If we didn't spent time and money for them, even didn't love and care them, they will not have time to look back us in our old time.

I hope children will do that to their parents in the senility stage. As for me, I am not sure who is going to take good care of me since no children yet.

He take care of of his parents and not liking wife and children. Is it the right thing to do? Should the wife and kid should look after him? I will not say that she has to look after this cruel man. He should die of no one.

That highly depends on how you treated your children because if you treated your children with respect of course they will be there but if you treated them with ridicule and did not pay attention to them then they will also treat you like that

The question of who will be there to look after us in old age, whether it's our parents or our children, can vary from person to person and depends on individual circumstances. It's important to remember that family dynamics and support systems differ among individuals and cultures.

In general, it is important to prioritize both your parents and your children, as both hold significant roles in your life. Balancing these relationships can be achieved through open communication and understanding among family members. Taking care of your parents is an act of gratitude for the love and care they provided you while growing up, while also acknowledging the responsibilities you have towards your own children.

It's crucial to foster strong relationships with both generations, ensuring that you provide emotional support, spend quality time together, and address any needs that may arise. Moreover, planning for the future, such as discussing long-term care options and financial arrangements, can help alleviate concerns about old age and ensure a supportive environment.

Ultimately, the best approach is to prioritize both parents and children, finding a harmonious balance that considers the well-being and happiness of everyone involved.

The relationship between parents and children is complex, and various factors influence the dynamics of caregiving in later years. While there is no direct quid pro quo in parenting — you take care of your children with the expectation that they will take care of you — the quality of the parent-child relationship can impact the likelihood of receiving support in old age.

Factors that influence whether children may take care of their parents in old age include:

1. **Relationship Quality:** A positive and supportive relationship during the child's upbringing may foster a sense of responsibility and closeness, increasing the likelihood of reciprocal care.

2. **Cultural and Social Norms:** Cultural expectations and social norms can influence the family's approach to caregiving responsibilities.

3. **Parenting Style:** A nurturing and involved parenting style may contribute to a stronger bond and a willingness on the part of the child to provide support later in life.

4. **Financial Stability:** Children's financial stability can play a role in their ability to provide care or support for aging parents.

5. **Geographic Proximity:** The physical distance between parents and children can affect the practicality of caregiving. If children live far away, providing direct care may be challenging.

6. **Health Conditions:** The health and needs of the parent also play a role. Parents in good health who require less assistance may place fewer caregiving demands on their children.

It's important to approach parenting with the understanding that it is a lifelong commitment. While there is no guarantee that children will or can provide care in old age, fostering a positive, loving, and supportive relationship throughout their lives can contribute to a stronger sense of family and may increase the likelihood of receiving support when needed. However, it's equally important for individuals to plan for their own care and support systems in old age, including financial planning and potential professional caregiving options.
