Updating the tales and telling them in a new way, writers can capitalize on the literary strength of the original tale. You could explore how the basic story would be affected by a different setting.

I agree that it can be modernized since it needs to capture the new generations.

Yes, it is a great idea. For example, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and Cindarella that is so popular with little girls can be made into blockbuster films. Cindarella has already been made into a film. I am not sure about the other two.

I think Beauty and the Beast were adapted into films. For Snow White, I think it was filmed before but not a modernized theme yet.

Most if not all of those fairy tales have been made into cartoons.

Yes , it is. With current sound and grafics effects the stories can be pictured very well. Cinderella, alice in wonderland etc are few. Some of them are made to be filmed but not has original version.

I agree that they were filmed but some characters were not included. I think the modern touch is not fully incorporated.

To contribute their image to the updated version of the tale, they can utilize a webcam or even a blue screen. It takes a lot of creativity to rewrite fairy tales.

Yeah, I think it's really interesting when those classical tales are remade.

In my personal views, those fairytales are too conservative, forcing the idea of happily ever afters in children's mind. Not to mention some of them, such as snow white, which indirectly shows p3d0philia.

Also, the modern writers give amazing twists to them.

It depends on the movie. While some movie adaptations of classical fairy tales can be quite successful, others may not be as well-received. It's important to consider the source material and the audience when making a modern movie adaptation of a classical fairy tale.

Turning classical into modern movies can be a good idea as it can introduce these stories to a new generation of audiences and bring new life to the tales.

This has been the norm . It is not a new idea but a rather old one and has been used for centuries. The fact that the grim brother's stories has been remade, remodeled, re-told, changed, updated , added is a true testament of the fact that movie writers have been choosing this style over and over again.
