I used to discuss before , but when i find it leads to problems , now i avoid discussing even if they ask me to, i decide to correct them once and i never discuss again.the best thing is to watch , do your job and go home.

I agree with you. I prefer to discuss here and there. At some point, virtual friends are more with sense than those cop-workers before.

No, I'm not a chatter l prefer to observe and listen to what’s going on in my surroundings. But if it needs some participation on important topics at work l might discuss something that needs my concerns.

I also do the same thing. I have never been a chatter with my co-workers offline. It is not my thing to indulge in their discussions.

Yes, of course.Discussions always increase our knowledge and we came to know many new issues which we dont know .We can be a master in a subject if we participate.

I would agree if my colleagues are competent enough to share their knowledge on certain topics.

No, bad idea whenever not absolutely necessary. The old saying 'Familiarity breeds contempt' applies. The more coworkers know about you, your beliefs, etc., the more chance at least one sniveling dirtbag will get its fee-fees hurt, and start using any info you provided to attack you. The workplace is not appropriate for making friends or lovers...both of which can turn against you, and make for a hostile work environment.

I do agree with you that one or two colleagues will be going to pull you down. It is inevitable to meet this kind of people.

No, I'm not a jabber l like to notice and pay attention to what's happening in my environmental elements. Yet, assuming it needs some support on significant themes at work l could talk about something that needs my interests.

If it is needed, then that is the time to talk with. I am only into teamwork but it is plainly a job-related thing.

No, I don't like to talk or have discussion on workplace. It will be either rumours or gossips. Better to avoid such talkings. I didn't like to talk a lot.

I am with you. When I am still working offline, I never dared talk with my colleagues, unless it is teamwork in doing a particular project.

I can indulge myself in discussions if needed or job-related only. During that time when working offline, I considered my former colleagues as competitors for possible promotions.

Discussions in workplace may seem like inappropriate, but when the workers are free, i think two workers discussing may not cause any harm, with that they create a healthy and friendly environment among themselves.

If the discussion is relevant to my work or if it would help the other departments I'm directly involved with, yes. If I'm just there as more of an observer (ex. a briefing on a new software), I mostly listen.

I enjoy participating in discussions at the workplace. I like to listen to different perspectives and provide thoughtful insights when needed. I'm not a chatter, but I do like to contribute to the conversation in meaningful ways.
