Yes, you may use any tile in a shower, however, there are particular tiles where you will run into issues after a while. You must choose the appropriate tiles for your bathroom as a result. Shower tiles should be waterproof and antiskid, in my opinion. Vinyl tiles are most frequently used in bathrooms because they are affordable and have a good level of durability. Additionally, stone, glass, porcelain, and ceramic tiles are preferable for the shower.

Vinyl tile can be used under the shower. Some people used to put stones to clean the leg. Also use dark color tile on the floor.

As for the walls any tiles can be used but for the floor dark and rough tiles because if you use flat tiles someone can easily fall so it best we use rough tiles.

Not all tiles are suitable for use in a shower. Tiles that are porous or absorbent, such as natural stone tiles like marble or limestone, are not recommended for use in showers as they can absorb water and become stained or discolored over time. Additionally, certain types of tiles, such as glass tiles, can be slippery when wet and may not provide adequate traction for shower floors.

Tiles that are typically used in showers include ceramic, porcelain, and certain types of natural stone like slate or granite. These materials are durable, water-resistant, and easy to clean, making them ideal for use in damp environments like a shower. It's important to choose tiles that are rated for use in wet areas and have a slip-resistant surface for shower floors. Additionally, it's recommended to use a grout that is specifically designed for use in showers to prevent water damage and mildew growth.

Not all tiles can be used in a shower. Tiles that are suitable for use in a shower are usually made of ceramic, porcelain, stone, or glass. These tiles are more resistant to water, heat, and humidity than other types of tiles. Additionally, it is important to use non-slip tiles in the bath area to prevent slips and falls.
