While the most effective way to fix a cracked iPhone screen is to take it to the Genius Bar at the Apple store, or find an Apple authorized service provider, if your phone is out of the warranty protection, it's pricey

First make sure that it is screen which is broken and not the guard. Secondly don’t try to fix it at home at it may result into further damage to the phone.

Do not go for cheap screens which is available at local shops because again after few months you will end up in similar situation. Go to a genuine store or Apple store and get it replaced.

If it is beyond your capacity to repair get it exchanged  in an exchange offer with Apple and buy new iPhone.

use a hairdryer, heat gun or a specialized heating pad that comes with screen repair kits. Apply a suction cup to the screen. Take a small suction cup and place it directly on the bottom half of the screen. Press down firmly so it sticks to the broken screen.

Fixing a phone screen at home is possible, but it can be a challenging and delicate task, especially if you don't have experience with electronics repair. Here are the general steps to repair a broken phone screen at home:

**Tools and Materials:**

- Replacement screen compatible with your phone model.

- Screwdriver set.

- Plastic prying tools or opening picks.

- Heat gun or hairdryer.

- Adhesive tape or adhesive seal.

- A clean, dust-free workspace.

**Steps:**

1. **Safety First:**

   - Ensure your phone is powered off and disconnected from any power source.

2. **Determine the Issue:**

   - Identify whether you need to replace the entire screen or just the glass. Replacing the glass alone is more complex and may require professional skills and tools.

3. **Disassemble the Phone:**

   - Carefully remove screws and use plastic prying tools to open the phone's case. Be gentle to avoid damaging the phone's exterior.

4. **Disconnect Cables:**

   - Inside, disconnect any cables or connectors that are attached to the broken screen.

5. **Separate the Old Screen:**

   - Use a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the adhesive around the edges of the broken screen. Gently and slowly separate the old screen from the phone's frame.

6. **Install the New Screen:**

   - Carefully position the replacement screen in place, ensuring it lines up correctly with the phone's frame.

7. **Reconnect Cables:**

   - Reconnect the cables or connectors to the new screen.

8. **Secure the Screen:**

   - If the replacement screen didn't come with pre-installed adhesive, use adhesive tape or an adhesive seal to secure the screen to the phone's frame.

9. **Power On and Test:**

   - Turn on the phone to test the new screen. Check for responsiveness and display quality.

10. **Reassemble the Phone:**

    - Secure the phone's case with screws, ensuring everything is aligned correctly.

11. **Final Check:**

    - Inspect the phone for any anomalies, such as dead pixels, touch sensitivity issues, or display irregularities.

Keep in mind that these are general steps, and the specific repair process may vary depending on your phone model and the issue you're facing. It's essential to consult your phone's user manual, seek model-specific repair guides, and be cautious to avoid further damage. If you're uncertain about your repair skills, it's often more practical to seek professional assistance or contact the phone manufacturer for repair or warranty options.

Fixing a cracked iPhone screen at home can be challenging and may require specialized tools and skills. However, if you're confident in your abilities, here are general steps you can consider. Keep in mind that attempting to repair the screen yourself may void your warranty, and it's always recommended to seek professional help if you're unsure.

Tools and Materials Needed:

1. Replacement screen kit (includes LCD and digitizer)

2. Screwdriver set (including a pentalobe screwdriver for iPhones)

3. Plastic opening tools or spudgers

4. Suction cup

5. Tweezers

6. Heat gun or hairdryer

7. Adhesive strips or glue

8. Patience and attention to detail

Steps to Fix a Cracked iPhone Screen:

1. **Power Off the iPhone:**

Ensure the iPhone is powered off before starting the repair process.

2. **Remove the Screws:**

Use the appropriate screwdriver to remove the screws around the edge of the iPhone. iPhones typically use pentalobe screws, so make sure you have the correct tool.

3. **Open the iPhone:**

Carefully use plastic opening tools or spudgers to pry open the iPhone. Start from the edges and work your way around. Be gentle to avoid damaging the internal components.

4. **Disconnect the Battery:**

Locate the battery connector inside the iPhone and disconnect it to ensure your safety during the repair.

5. **Remove the Broken Screen:**

Lift the broken screen away from the iPhone carefully. Take note of the components and their placement as you will need to transfer them to the new screen.

6. **Detach Components from the Broken Screen:**

Transfer components such as the earpiece, front camera, and home button to the new screen. Be meticulous and follow guides specific to your iPhone model.

7. **Heat and Separate the LCD and Digitizer:**

Use a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the adhesive holding the LCD and digitizer together. Once heated, gently separate the two components.

8. **Attach the New Screen:**

Carefully attach the new screen, ensuring all components are in their correct positions. Press down to secure the adhesive.

9. **Reassemble the iPhone:**

Reverse the steps to reassemble the iPhone, reconnect the battery, and secure the screws. Make sure everything fits properly.

10. **Test the iPhone:**

Power on the iPhone and test the new screen. Check the responsiveness of the touch screen, display quality, and functionality of all components.

11. **Apply Adhesive Strips or Glue:**

If your replacement screen doesn't come with pre-applied adhesive, carefully apply adhesive strips or glue around the edges to secure the screen in place.

Note: Repairing a cracked iPhone screen requires precision and attention to detail. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable with any step, it's advisable to seek professional help or take your iPhone to an authorized service center. Additionally, consider checking for tutorials or guides specific to your iPhone model for more detailed instructions.
