In a photo, there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality. Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is. They connect us to our past, they remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories and that is the important role of photographs.

I agree that it depends on how a person will perceive these photos. It can come from their personal experiences in life and so on.

I looking into pictures gave us ideas on what the picture really wanted to say or what it wanted to convey. Pictures does not only captures moments nor it only gives us the "feels" when we look into it again.

I also wondered how artists do their drawings. Sometimes I am feeling weird when hearing or listening to their thoughts while seeing photos.

I always believe that "A picture speaks a thousand words." It is we who can interpret these photos without any second thoughts. We have the right to do it.

Thinking through the deeper message of a picture is important because it allows the viewer to understand the context and meaning behind the image. Without considering the deeper message, a photograph may be seen only for its surface-level content, and its true significance may be missed.

Thinking through the deeper message of a picture can also help to create a more nuanced understanding of the subject matter and the photographer's intentions. For example, a photograph of a smiling child may be interpreted as depicting happiness and innocence, but if the photograph is part of a series that explores the effects of poverty and neglect, the viewer may see the photograph in a different light.

Additionally, understanding the deeper message of a photograph can also help the viewer to identify any biases or perspectives that the photographer may have had. This allows for a more critical examination of the photograph and can help to prevent the viewer from accepting the photograph at face value without question.

Lastly, it can also be useful to think through the deeper message of a picture in order to appreciate the art and skill that goes into creating a photograph. Understanding the technical choices that the photographer made in terms of composition, lighting, and other elements can help to appreciate the photograph as an art form.

If you look at Instagram, it is inauthentic in most cases and people portray exactly the image of themselves that they want. Things do not appear as they seem sometimes, especially in this case.

There are many reasons why we need to think through the deeper message of a picture.

* **Pictures can be powerful tools of communication.** They can convey complex ideas and emotions in a way that words alone cannot.

* **Pictures can be used to shape our understanding of the world around us.** They can influence our opinions and beliefs about different people, places, and events.

* **Pictures can be used to manipulate and exploit us.** They can be used to sell us products and services, or to promote certain political or social agendas.

That is why it is important to be critical of the images that we see. We need to think about what they are trying to tell us, and who is trying to tell us it. We also need to be aware of our own biases and how they may influence our interpretation of images.

Here are some questions you can ask yourself when thinking about the deeper message of a picture:

* **What is the subject of the picture?** What is the photographer trying to show us?

* **What is the mood or atmosphere of the picture?** What feelings does the picture evoke?

* **Who is the audience for the picture?** Who is the photographer trying to reach?

* **What message is the picture trying to convey?** What is the photographer trying to tell us about the world?

It is also important to consider the context in which a picture is presented. For example, a picture of a child suffering from malnutrition will have a different impact if it is published in a news article than if it is used in an advertisement for a charity.

By thinking critically about the images that we see, we can develop a better understanding of the world around us and become more informed consumers of media.

Here are some examples of pictures with deeper messages:

* **The famous photograph of "Tank Man"** standing in front of a column of tanks in Tiananmen Square in 1989 is a powerful symbol of the Chinese government's suppression of dissent.

* **The photograph of the "Napalm Girl"** running down a road during the Vietnam War is a harrowing image of the human cost of war.

* **The photograph of the "Earthrise"** taken by the Apollo 11 astronauts in 1969 is a reminder of our fragile planet and our place in the universe.

These are just a few examples of pictures with deeper messages. There are many other powerful and thought-provoking images out there. By taking the time to think about these images, we can learn more about ourselves and the world around us.

Thinking about the deeper message of a picture is important because it helps us understand the story or emotion behind it. Pictures can capture complex ideas, feelings, or stories in a single frame. By looking beyond the surface, we can appreciate the photographer's intent and connect more deeply with the image.
