It is quite easy to sprinkle edible glitter dust over cakes or cupcakes. Fresh fondant or icings should have it sprinkled or sprayed on top of them.

Try to make a top layer with fondant or icing and apply edible glitter over it. It can be applied over cake and cupcakes. You can also brush the glitter over the chocolates, and the pudding.

To apply edible glitter on food: Choose the right type of glitter: Edible glitter is available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. Choose a glitter that complements the food item's flavor and theme. Prepare the food: Ensure that the food item is properly prepared and ready to be decorated. Apply a sticky base: To make the glitter stick, you can apply a thin layer of frosting, syrup, or melted chocolate to the food item. Apply the glitter: Once the sticky base is applied, sprinkle the edible glitter evenly over the top of the food item. You can also use a brush to apply the glitter if desired. Let it set: Allow the glitter to set for a few minutes before serving the food item. This will prevent the glitter from rubbing off onto fingers or clothing. Note: It is important to use only edible glitter as non-edible glitter can be harmful if ingested. Additionally, always check the label to make sure the glitter is food-safe.

To apply edible glitter on food, brush a small amount of clear piping gel or edible glue onto the area you want to glitter, then sprinkle the glitter on top. Alternatively, mix the glitter directly into the food or drink before serving. Be sure to use only edible glitter that is labeled as safe for consumption.

Applying edible glitter dust to cakes (or cupcakes) is very simple. You'll want to sprinkle or spray it on top of fresh fondant or icings. That's it! You can even spray it onto your actual baked cake, which is what you see us do above in the first strawberry shortcake video
