In general, Razor cut tends to have a thinner peak and is effective at bringing out curls and waves while Scissor cut tends to have a chunkier or blunter look near the peak and is basically a more natural cut.

A specific tool is needed to be chosen based on the hair type and desired aesthetic. In constrast to scissors, which will appear more uniformly dull, a razor will have a more worn-in, rough appearance. If you desire straight lines and a uniform, polished appearance, a razor cut isprobably not for you.

A razor cut uses a sharp blade to create soft, textured ends, while a scissor cut uses shears to create clean, precise lines in the hair.

In general, when the hair has been razored, the hair taper off to a thinner peak. Scissors tend to produce a blunter or chunkier look towards the ends.
