The sociotechnical approach to job design is a method of designing jobs that takes into account both the social and technical aspects of a job. This approach focuses on creating jobs that are meaningful and satisfying to employees, while also taking into account the technical requirements for the job. The guidelines for job design using this approach include creating jobs that are meaningful, allowing for employee autonomy and creativity, providing feedback and support to employees, and ensuring that the job is designed to be efficient and effective.
