A child don't have to be in any situation before advice is given to that child, because constant advice helps the child to develop good morals, which keep them out of trouble.

Children need follow up always and everyday , parents should build a friend relationship between them and their kids, so that they will not hide anything and not fear to tell what is happening with them.

when they grow up they will ask for advice if parents raise them good and also build a trust beside friendship.

Yes, I guess I've grown my discipline because of my closeness to my parents. They won't let you learn bad things as well

The best way to guide a child is to teach him how to fear God, reminds them what Gods well for us and everything follows.Teaching them to love one another because if you shows love you can't do anything harmful and unpleasant to others.Still a child needs a follow-up,close monitoring and constant conversation from a member of families.

In my experience, some children ask for advice outright. If they don't I think these are some of the situations wherein they need your advice:

1. When they're having difficulty in school

2. When they're moving to a new home or a new school

3. When they seem down or troubled

4. When they are angry

5. When they are acting out

6. When you think they're being mean

7. When they're in a new chapter in their lives (ex. going to high school, learning a new sport, taking on a summer job)

Every person needs advice in one way or the other because they are not perfect but if you are giving someone advice don't be too judgemental or forcing your decision on them .

Yes, that's what I always say if I give advice to someone. I'm just offering a buffet, you're still the one who will choose what to eat. Means that it's up to them if they take my advice

The best way to guide a young person is setting yourself as an example, people these age are looking for someone they idolize, being a role model to them may let them adopt your attitude and if you have give them advice, make sure to yourself that you are doing it.

When the child is not productive, that child needs advice.

When the child is productive, the child still needs advice.

Advice is there to keep the child in check to prevent any misbehavior or correct any misbehavior.

I really think that there is no particular time to give some one or your children advice it should be a regular thing almost every day to keep them on the right track
