Give me ideas about some websites that I can open a shop and sell my handmade items there, I am interested in worldwide websites.

You can try to check the counterparts of Amazon or eBay in your country. For me, I am using Shopee to sell the used and unused items at home.

Etsy seems to be popular among artsy people , maybe give us an example of things you make and itd help us guide you better. I know from experience ebay has high fees :-(

Your usual options would be Amazon , eBay , and then some local e-shopping sites , in my case in my country , Flipkart, Snapdeal etc etc

The best sites are Etsy, Shopify, Ecwid, WordPress with WooCommerce, Amazon if you can do it, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and any others that work well in your country that I am not aware of. The main thing is to have lots of items and always add more, and to get lots of traffic. It pays to post about selling your items on your social media and it can be a good thing to drive traffic if you blog about it as well.
