Trust no one, never put anyone before yourself, always do what makes you happy and whatever you do, never put your dreams on hold for anyone. That's what I learned from my previous relationship.

I agree with you. A partner should not control one's future. He or she needs to support his or her partner.

I've learned two important things - open communication and love language. It's important to maintain an open communication and make a safe space for your partner, even if the conversations are hard. Also, your partner's love language is equally important as yours.

I agree that we need to have these qualities. They are the perfect combination to make the relationship works.

The only thing that I had taken away from my previous relationships is not to expect too much from them. You just need to enjoy the moments with them. If it did not work out, then you just need to let go.

With what i have been observing from my friends when they go through different breakups, i think they act as a more improve guy than in the previous one.

Even close relationships are fraught with conflict. It matters how we argue, whether we think about the well-being of our union or only pursue our own interests. In the heat of anger we may say many words to each other that will hurt the person we care about. An assertive stance can help us get what we want in a momentary conflict, but the price will be a gradual loss of support and understanding of the partner.

I have taken away many lessons from past relationships, such as the importance of communication, trust, and respect. I have also learned that it is important to be honest with one's partner, to be open to compromise, and to be willing to work through challenging times together. Additionally, I have learned that it is important to take time for oneself and to prioritize one's own needs.

The key lessons from my previous relationship is that one should be patient, honest with your partner. Treat others as yourself. Always seek to understand your partner.

You and you alone are responsible for your happiness. Don't expect someone else to do that job better than you. Own that responsibility and fulfill it.

Having too much expectation from others only leads to misery.

I learnt to be the best version of myself, and never to compromise my standards, to be quite in certain situations, to think thoroughly before reacting, to exercise patience, because "patience is a virtue".

A great relationship is about two things, first find out the similarities and second respect the differences. Do everything with a good heart and expect nothing in return, you will never be disappointed.

Sometimes, you have to eat your words, chew your ego, swallow your pride and accept that you are wrong, even when actually you are not wrong. It is not giving up, rather it is called growing up.
