The bible is a word of God so the entire scriptures is essential for us to be the guide of our daily walk both physically and spiritually.If I'm facing problems I may think God may comfort me through the verse in Matt. 11:28 says "Come to me all who toil and burdened,and I will give you rest" verse John 16:33 says "These things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace.In the world you have affliction, but take courage, I have overcome the world" and a part of Hebrews 13:5 saying "I shall by no means give you up, neither by any means shall I abandon you".So God are always be there for us especially in times of troubles and difficulties.

I do not have a specific verse, but I do have my own little way of praying.  I pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary.   Many people argue with me that nowhere in the Bible does it say to pray to Mary.  I tell them that kids listen to their Mothers, don't they?  Well, Jesus is Mary's son.  Don't you think that Jesus listens to his Mother?

Christians also pray for virgin mary when praying the rosary, it is fine why not? But also we pray for jesus and read the bible too, also the verses in bible help us to correct our ways of life, and get the strength from them when we feel week.

One verse that may bring comfort during difficult times is Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

I am quoting Psalm 91 here. He keeps under his shadow. " Under the shadow of almighty ". This is the main topic of Psalm 91. Psalm 91 has so many hidden meanings. If meditate on this verses these verses keep us under his shadow. Under his protection, under his cover.

Psalm 91

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,

    my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you

    from the fowler’s snare

    and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,

    and under his wings you will find refuge;

    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,

    nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,

    nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

    ten thousand at your right hand,

    but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes

    and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

    and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you,

    no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,

    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;

    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;

    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;

    I will be with him in trouble,

    I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him

    and show him my salvation.”

Thereafter, Psalm 23. The blessing from Lord. Meditating Psalm 23 opens way to blessing.
