Should the United states and other countries arm themselves to prepare for war?

As much as possible any country should avoid arming its country for war. This is not a good idea all over the world instead all of us must unite altogether to solve and find solutions to the country's problems. Everybody deserves happy meaningful life and not divided just to say their rights from one another.

I think they need to. We can never tell when other countries would declare a war. It happened during the war between Russia and Ukraine.
