I have learned my lesson.  Next year, I am going to shop year-round.  I usually wait until November and December only to find myself tight on money.  However, I like helping Santa out and getting into the Christmas Spirit with the snow and Christmas lights, etc.

How about you?

I usually do my Christmas shopping throughout the year, so that I'm not overwhelmed by the holiday rush. I like to take advantage of sales and discounts when they come up, and I find that it helps to spread out the cost of gifts over the year. I also like to get into the holiday spirit by visiting Christmas markets, decorating the house, and baking festive treats.

I prefer to shop for Christmas year-round. Black Friday is a kind of disturbing because of great number of people that buys everything. Last minute is also not a good time because you have to prepare for Christmas in calm mood.

I have learned the hard way.  You know all those half-off sales after Christmas?  This girl is taking advantage of these sales!  The only exception would be when I buy at thrift stores.

I only shop things for my nieces and nephew. For adults, I guess I would buy some for them, too. It is only during Christmas seasons.

I shop for Christmas year round and sometimes Black Friday. The last-minute shopping only if I missed someone that I just knew very recently or not that close to me. I don't like shopping at the last minute and joining the other people doing it. Almost everybody is always in the store before Christmas time and while they have the last minute shopping they will do it. Sometimes it is a waste of time staying on the line or going from one store to another due to traffic.

Do you then shop online in this case?

Often, closer to Christmas, I think of people that Santa wants to give presents to that I forgot.

This elf likes to get presents online.

Yes i think to buy gifts we need to do it earliers because we have to search in different shop and get the best, not to leave it for last minute.

I am sorry that you had so many problems!  May I ask what you had bought?  Maybe you can teach what not what to buy.

When I see an item or items that I think a family member or a friend would like as a gift, I buy it even if it's not Christmas season yet. There are times I buy at the last minute, but I mostly buy quite early. I don't like the long lines during Christmas season.

I have a roommate that likes gift cards as Christmas presents.  She loves Wal-Mart.  So, Santa usually brings her that request.  Tonight, I asked her what other gift cards she would like.  She gave me a whole list!  She has created a monster.  I am an elf on a mission!

I hope your hunt for gift cards goes well! I think the favorite gift card I received was from H&M.

May I ask what H&M is?  I have never heard of that store.  Is it clothing?

I like to shop for Christmas all year long. Due to the large number of individuals that purchase everything, Black Friday can be quite unsettling. In order to prepare for Christmas in a calm manner, waiting until the last minute is also not a good idea.
