When it comes to me i usually lay down and watch movies, movies has actually been the best way for me to get my mind off certain issues that may be bothering me at that moment.
I work more so i will think only how to finish the work, also I watch tv, listen to radio, do some crafts , keep myself busy all the time so that I don't have time to think with problems and bullshits.
It is very simple for me. I just actively participate here and to the other sites. It is not my persona to dwell in such a situation. It is best to keep being optimistic.
If I realized that I'm overthinking, I'm making myself busy like watching sports or YouTube videos, I go outside and take a walk or ride my bike, I go to church to hear advices from our pastors and I motivate myself not just to think, but to do things that benefit me on what I am thinking
To distract myself from overthinking, I like to take a break and do something completely unrelated to the task at hand. I might go for a walk, listen to some music, read a book, or watch a movie. I also find that talking with friends or family can help me take my mind off of whatever I'm worrying about.
