Some of the most common mite pills include:

Simparica. Activated 3 hours after feeding, effective 30-35 days. NexGard. Starts working as soon as 30 minutes after ingestion, but works for 20-25 days.

Bravecto. Acaricidal effect appears 8 hours after intake, lasts up to 4 months.

Have you tried using anti-tick and flea spray? I'm not sure what brands are available in your country, but I tried one on my cat and it was effective. There are also chewables and tablets available for ticks.

I've tried the eardrops and powder so far, will look for sprays and woah, nice, will definitely check out for chewables. Thank you!

You could also ask your vet. I think some deworming tablets can also help with it. I'm hoping you get to remove those ticks soon!

Use fine-point tweezers to hold the tick in the place rather than pulling it off and perhaps spreading bacteria to the bite site. If you notice one or more sticks already attached to your dog, you should physically remove them. By dipping a tick in rubbing alcohol or Listerine, a tick can be killed quickly.

There are several methods to remove ticks from dogs, including the following: Using tweezers: Grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible and gently pull upward with a steady, continuous motion. Do not twist or crush the tick. Using tick removal tools: Commercial tick removal tools, such as tick spoons or tick hooks, can also be used to safely remove ticks from dogs. Applying petroleum jelly: Coating the tick with petroleum jelly can cause it to become dislodged and eventually fall off. It's important to thoroughly clean the bite area after removing the tick to prevent infection. In addition, using tick preventatives such as collars, sprays, or topical treatments can help reduce the risk of tick bites. If you are unsure how to remove a tick or if any symptoms of illness occur after removal, it's best to consult a veterinarian.

Using tweezers:

Grasp the tick as close to your dog's skin as possible (without pinching your pet).

Pull it out slowly in a straight, steady motion. Don't jerk; anything left behind could lead to an infection.

It can be frustrating to deal with ticks on your dogs, as they not only cause discomfort and irritation to your furry friends, but also potentially spread diseases.
