Spare time activities?

List some spare time activities for 4 years old kid? To avoid screen time? To encourage reading?

My son has always loved activity books. The ones with mazes, puzzles, coloring, spot the difference. As for reading, try the more interactive ones like pop-up books or the ones that have sounds. As for spare time activities, do you have neighbors or friend with kids nearby? You could do playdates.

Kids are always free when they are back from school, but some parents do not make good use of this spare time for their children,I will advise you engage them in activities like quiz or competition and games that portrays intelligence and knowledge, something very interesting it shouldn't be boring make those activities interesting and capture their attention and interest and gift should be given as a way of encouragement.

It is best to have some children English books with photos. The more colorful they are, the more the children want to learn and even the reading part.

Kids usually have alot of free which is good, but it's not good when all that time is used to watch movie, i would advice parents to encourage their children in sport.

When I was a kid, I was restricted to go outside but to use gaming consoles, now it is a lesson I've learned not to let a kid to stay at home because he'll be lazy

1. Buy coloring books and help them color it.

2. Have an alphabet card and shuffle the card then pick what letter will he answer

3. Provide toys so that he'll play it and not play using the phone

4. Get some papers and teach them how to write their name first before concentrating on the whole alphabet.

5. Go walk with them outside to exercise their joints and not to think about using a phone
