It really depends on what you have been looking for in a phone. I personally like android phones and hate apple products (I love testing gadgets so I have had all sorts of phones in the past). I have had from nokias to blackberries, android and apple, I dont like apple because the battery life is awful and you are stuck with a closed system that requests you to download a program so you can transfer songs to it. It is just not practical or cheap. I like android because I can do whatever I want to it and sending files to a computer or vice versa is just one click away. I can also send stuff to people and do not have to be stuck with downloading stupid programs. As for blackberries they are ncie but they are very business-y...they are not so much fun but they are very reliable and easy for you to orgazine your stuff in them.

There is no specific brand of phone that is worth using. It all depends on the user's preference for a particular brand. Personally if asked to make a choice among array of brand of phones that are out there, I will take some certain features and specifications of the phone of my choice into consideration. Like:

Camera; how bright is the camera for selfie and photo capturing? This would definitely be on my top list in going for my preferred phone brand.

Battery; the first that would come into my mind is how strong the battery is in terms of its capacity strength and durability. And how long will it last me after charging it?

Processor; this would also be among the priority of what I would consider before opting to buy any brand of phone. How powerful it is when it comes to speed? Will serve me efficiently when operating it.

These are some of the key features and specs I will factor in on before buying any brand of phone.

I have always loved the android operating system so I go for android phones, it seem to give me a good value for my money. It seem most phones manufacturers are sticking to using it.

Android phones have good charging options

Its hardwares are easily replaceable

Android have so many phone choices that one can choose from its array.

So many apps are actually made for android phones so one have choices to choose from.

There's a back button and one can write with a stylus

Android phones has customization and some widgets.

So you can go for good android phones like oneplus6,Samsung Galaxy note 8,Samsung Galaxy S9 plus,Samsung Galaxy S9,Google pixel etc.

Just look at the different reviews of each and see which gives you the needed satisfaction.

If I am to pick between android and apple, I would always choose android for one major reason--value for money. the value of apple easily depreciates; hence if I am to buy a model now, by the following year, significant cut in price should be expected as if it isn't a recent model. The other thing I dislike is that new models of apple gadgets tend to have minor modifications, which do not justify the price increase.

Now if I am to decide whichever brand of android phone to buy, I cannot say that I patronize a single brand; rather, I make it a point to really read reviews so as to determine whether I will be able to get the best deal. For instance, I think Huawei and Samsung phones have the best cameras while Asus ZenFones have longest battery life compared to other brands.

There are android and IOS phones but the Android phones seem to have lots of brands in it version.
I am more comfortable with Android phones because they are cheaper,  the battery life is also superb, the speed is still very OK because most of them have minimum of 1GB ram size. It accept lots of apps that makes our lives very comfortable.  Amongst the brands in Android include Samsung,  infinix,  Techno, gionee, Huwei and lots more.  I am more confident with Infinix and Techno because I have used them.
The IOS phones are very expensive though they tend have high processor speed and their camera have very powerful with very high image caption quality. The battery life doesn't last as supposed.

Different strokes for different folks and the size of your pockets determine the brand to go for.

This thread makes me think of turning back to android because, it's true that IOS are way too expensive even repairing it. I just became apple user because of ignorance on how it does work and how does it feelto have one and because the camera and safety while using the phone online.

If it is comfortable for you to use especially in terms security online then I advise you continue using it but if are not comfortable with it maintenance especially if it get spoilt then you may have a rethink.

It all depends in what you want and what you need. There are a lot of smartphone in the market and you can choose the one with well known brand or not. For me I like Samsung, Huawei and Apple, but they are so expensive. I don't really buy a smartphone which is in the latest, I just buy what I can afford to. It's not necessarily to be the latest smartphone as long as I can use it while texting, talking, chatting, and a good camera then, I am happy with it. I usually consider to use Huawei M series and P series, Samsung S9 and Note 9, as well as iPhone X series, I can't afford those prices, so I am sticking to older models like 6 series and Huawei Nova 3i which is midrange smartphone but has a good quality and can compete with high ends model.

It depends on your Interest. To me, Vivo is the best. Because it almost has all the features that I want. Some likes samsung, some like redmi, some likes iphone. So it depends on the person and their Interest.
